Paraguay is working to enhance its strategic relations with Japan while showcasing its investment potential. The Paraguayan delegation, led by President Santiago Peña, includes the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Javier Giménez; the Paraguayan Ambassador to Japan, Mario Masayuki Toyotoshi; and the Vice Minister of Rediex, Javier Viveros. They have been actively engaging in a series of meetings in Japan aimed at promoting trade and investment opportunities.

In an important meeting with representatives from ZENNOH and ZENCHU, two prominent cooperatives in Japan's agri-food sector, Paraguay positioned itself as a reliable supplier of meat, grains, and other products. The delegation emphasized Paraguay's competitive advantages such as natural resources, clean energy, economic stability, low taxes, and strategic location.

Furthermore, during an exclusive luncheon with 30 business leaders from the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Japan chapter—a global network of high-level executives—Paraguayan authorities presented investment opportunities in sectors like technology, finance, retail, and services. This meeting aligns with Paraguay's vision of being open to global partnerships and highlights its dynamic private sector as a key player in development.

These engagements are part of Rediex's strategy under President Santiago Peña and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to boost foreign trade and attract investments for economic growth. With government support, Paraguay aims to solidify its status as an appealing destination for international business.
