TransCanada to build natural gas pipeline in Mexico

TransCanada Corp. was awarded a contract to build and operate the Tuxpan-Tula natural gas pipeline in Mexico. The project also includes a 25-year natural gas service contract with the Comision Federal de Electricidad. TransCanada said it will invest $500 million in the pipeline, which will be 36 inches in diameter and 155 miles long. The pipeline is expected to be ready by 2017. Read More »

Mexico's FIBRA Prologis said it has expanded its real estate holdings with the purchase of a 502,000-square-foot building in the Apodaca submarket in Monterrey, Mexico. "This newly developed facility is leased to a multinational customer with whom we have recurrent business," Prologis Mexico CEO Luis Gutierrez said.
