On a mission to enhance trade relations between Paraguay and Japan, Vice Minister of Rediex, Javier Viveros, and Commercial Attaché Paola Subeldía Blasco visited key industries in Okayama, Japan. Their goal was to explore opportunities for cooperation and expansion in the forestry and industrial sectors for Paraguay's sustainable development.

During their visit to Innosho Forestry, the representatives toured four production plants. They evaluated the potential for exporting Paraguayan eucalyptus wood to Japan. This initiative aims to promote a sustainable business model by encouraging reforestation and boosting economic growth in Paraguay's forestry sector. Collaboration with Innosho Forestry is seen as an important step toward integrating Paraguayan wood into international trade while establishing a beneficial trade relationship between Paraguay and Japan.

Vice Minister Viveros and the Commercial Attaché also visited Hagihara Industries, known for its innovative construction materials. Discussions centered on BarChip, a technology that replaces steel in concrete with structural polyurethane synthetic fiber. With a production plant already operating in Ciudad del Este, this alliance supports Paraguay's industrial growth and positions it as an innovation hub in Latin America.

These visits underscore Paraguay's dedication to finding new trade and investment opportunities with Japan, aiming for future investments that will foster sustainable growth for both nations.
