Embraer Defense & Security is participating in the 47th ARSAG (Aerial Refueling Systems Advisory Group) conference, held from April 29 to May 1 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event gathers representatives from the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Army, NATO, and allies from 20 nations to discuss best practices and safety in military operations and aerial refueling systems.
Bosco da Costa Junior, President & CEO of Embraer Defense & Security, participated in the Senior Industry Panel Discussion moderated by USAF Retired Lieutenant General John B. Sams, Jr., ARSAG Board Chairman. Richard J. Sullivan from Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems also joined the panel.
The Brazilian Air Force's KC-390 Millennium is showcased at Atlantic Aviation FBO at Harry Reid International Airport. Bosco da Costa Junior expressed enthusiasm about participating in ARSAG and highlighted how Embraer and the KC-390 Millennium can support the U.S. Department of Defense with air refueling challenges faced by allied nations worldwide.
The KC-390 Millennium is a medium airlifter and tanker designed for multi-mission capability with low operational costs. It enhances interoperability among NATO members and allies in Europe while modernizing their armed forces. The aircraft is operational with Brazil, Portugal, Hungary and has been ordered by several other countries including Sweden and Slovakia.
The KC-390 Millennium offers an off-the-shelf platform ready to address emerging threats globally.
