TransCanada to build natural gas pipeline in Mexico

TransCanada Corp. was awarded a contract to build and operate the Tuxpan-Tula natural gas pipeline in Mexico. The project also includes a 25-year natural gas service contract with the Comision Federal de Electricidad. Canadian Solar to build three photovoltaic projects in Brazil

Canadian Solar, Inc., said it will be building three photovoltaic projects in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The three projects awarded to Canadian Solar will total approximately 110 megawatts in Pirapora. Two large industrial land projects were acquired by FIBRA Macquarie Mexico, after an agreement was met to purchase the properties in Ciudad Juarez. The two projects and associated land cover about 380,000 square feet and were purchased for $21.7 million in Mexico.
