Arctech Solar issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
Arctech Solar, a leading provider of solar plotters and racks, announced that it has successfully delivered more than 500 MW of solar plotters to large-scale power generating plants in Mexico. It marks an important milestone of Arctech Solar in the promotion of renewable energy development in Mexico.
Application of SkySmart in bifacial modules solar power generating plant
Since entering the Mexican market in 2018, Arctech has faced major initiatives: with the 1P SkyLine tracker and the 2P SkySmart tracker, it supplied 7 projects in Mexico and continues to expand its presence locally, establishing an office from which it can support each stage of a project, including design engineering, sales and project management.
One of the excellent examples of cooperation with our partners to offer a high quality solar plant is the 167.12 MW Sonora project, located in Benjamin Hill, Mexico, which is expected to be connected to the network in December. This project was equipped with bifacial modules, an ideal combination for SkySmart, a 2P plotter and allows the reverse of the bifacial module to yield more energy. In addition, this project can be installed at a rapid pace thanks to the SkySmarts advantage of efficient factory preassembly.
SkyLine application at Durango's first solar power station
Another excellent example is the 104 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Canatlan, which is the first solar plant in Durango and the second SkyLine plotter project after the commissioning of the 144 MW Ahumada project in Mexico.
The rugged terrain and strong winds of this project set a higher standard for solar plotters. Arctech's SkyLine is a 1P solution that was the ideal choice for this project, which has a strong ground capacity, easy installation and great wind resistance.
