Embraer concluded its U.S. demonstration tour of the KC-390 Millennium, a multi-mission medium airlift and tanker, with a static display at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The event was attended by U.S. military representatives, members of Congress, and the press.

Over the past two weeks, the KC-390 participated in various events across the country to exhibit its capabilities to different sectors such as defense, space, public security, and disaster relief. At the ARSAG annual conference in Las Vegas, Embraer emphasized that the KC-390 is prepared to support the U.S. Department of Defense in addressing critical air refueling challenges globally. The aircraft also visited Kennedy Space Center in Florida to demonstrate its performance and cargo capacity for rescue missions and space logistics operations. During SOF Week in Tampa, Florida, it showcased its multi-mission capabilities for special forces operations.

Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security, stated: “We are thrilled to see the positive feedback from everyone that visited or had the chance to fly in the aircraft during this series of demonstrations, and we see many opportunities for the KC-390 in the U.S.” He added that "the aircraft offers an unbeatable combination of unmatched performance, cargo capacity and low operating costs," making it suitable for U.S. Armed Forces needs.

The KC-390 is designed for demanding missions under challenging conditions such as aerial refueling and agile combat employment. It features modern sensors and communication equipment that ensure connectivity between aircraft, operational commands, and ground troops. Its integrated electronic warfare system enhances survivability.

Embraer's KC-390 Millennium is gaining popularity among NATO members and allies in Europe for modernizing armed forces while improving interoperability with allied forces. The aircraft is already operational with Brazil, Portugal, Hungary; ordered by Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic; recently selected by Sweden and Slovakia; with South Korea joining as well.

The KC-390 Millennium remains in production at full operational capability as an off-the-shelf platform available today for global markets to address emerging threats.
