VT iDirect, Inc. said Sunday that satellite service provider Axesat has installed iDirect Remote Commissioning Solution throughout Latin America.
This move will speed the Axesat’s VSAT remotes and allow the company to use new services more efficiently. In addition, the company can now add more customers to its network in a timelier manner.
Established on iDirect Evolution, Axesat’s VSAT service provides connectivity solutions to a variety of customers in the infrastructure, retail, construction, oil and gas and financial industries throughout Latin America.
"At Axesat, our iDirect-based satellite infrastructure allows us to offer a complete portfolio of solutions that answer any need for connectivity,” Axesat Mexico R&D Director Gerardo Galvez said. “Using iDirect's Satmotion, we deploy new sites quickly and with less chance of maintenance visits, which ultimately helps us grow faster and most cost-effectively to meet the demands of the market.”
Axesat is a global company with operations in Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela and Central America.
