Franklin Mining recently imported seven pieces of mining equipment into Bolivia as part of its plan to implement a standardized operating procedure for mining in the Tipauni area.
This is in addition to the 10 Gold Cube Technology units that Franklin Mining also has successfully imported.
William Petty, Franklin Mining’s lead on the ground, said the equipment will be installed before the rainy seasons begins in the region.
The equipment will be used by Cotoca Ltda., operating around the Rio Capitan de Zona De Cedruni on the Tipuani River; Cooperativa Molleterio Ltda., operating around the Chima area also on the Tipuani River; and an undisclosed Peruvian mine north of Puno.
Guaney Cooperativas, consisting of 49 mining organizations varying in size, also has expressed interest in the equipment and has sent Petty a letter of invitation.
Operating joint venture agreements with companies in Bolivia, Peru and Mexico, Franklin Mining prides itself on creating sustainable mining practices that contribute to the socio-economic and cultural development of the communities it operates within. By doing this, it hopes to generate the largest possible value while optimizing its resources and preserving the environment.
