Adavium Medical acquires two Brazilian clinical diagnostic companies

Adavium Medical, formerly known as ADVANCE Medical, recently acquired two of Brazil’s largest clinical diagnostic companies, Alka Tecnologia and Hemogram Industria e Comercio. The acquisitions position Adavium as Brazil’s largest medical equipment and diagnostics company in terms of sales and customer base. Biocept has entered into a deal with Quest Diagnostics Mexico to expand the reach of its epidermal growth factor receptor (EGRF) mutation detecting liquid biopsy test to lung cancer patients in Mexico. Brazil's Embraer signs deal to supply jets to Horizon Air

Horizon Air, a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group, recently signed a purchase order with Brazil-based airplane manufacturer Embraer for 30 E175 jet aircraft, a contract worth approximately $2.8 billion and includes options for an additional 33 jets.
