Abraaj acquisition by Colony Capital expected to close this quarter

Colony Capital, a Los Angeles-based investment firm, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Abraaj Holdings and Abraaj Investment Management Ltd. 

The deal is expected to close this quarter and will rebrand as Colony Latam Partners.

Abraaj’s Miguel Angel Olea Sisniega, Hector Martinez Fry, Gerardo Mendoza Llanes, and Eduardo Cortina Murrieta will continue to lead the company’s operations in Latin America in partnership with Colony Capital.

In June 2018, Abraaj announced its possible transaction with Colony Capital. It is now almost complete awaiting for certain approvals.
