Davivienda recently announced a collaboration with Uber to provide promotional benefits to the bank's customers in Costa Rica who have a Davivienda credit or debit card.
"At Davivienda we have set out to provide differentiated and innovative benefits to our customers, so we generate promotions at the forefront of digital services," Davivienda Payment Media Director Edwin Cespedes said in a release.
New Uber users must register with a Davivienda credit or debit card. They will receive a promotional code worth $8.75 that must be used on the customers' first trip with Uber in Costa Rica. The code expires in 30 days.
Existing customers must use a Davivienda credit or debit card to pay for their Uber rides in Costa Rica. Upon the fifth consecutive Uber ride, the account will be credited with a bonus of up to $8.75, which must be used during the promotion. This offer is not valid for corporate cards.
"At Uber we are pleased to present this alliance in partnership with Davivienda, giving cardholders the opportunity to enjoy a safe and reliable mobility service," Uber Communications Associate for Central America and the Caribbean Julie Robinson said in the release.
The promotion is valid through Sept. 6. Debit cards must have funds available to cover the Uber charges. Credit cards must be up to date on payments to qualify for the promotion.
