The Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota is scheduled to open at the end of October, making it the first hotel of the chain to be opened in Colombia, to be followed by the Four Seasons Hotel Bogota in 2016; the new hotel is placed on an elegant 1946 residential-style hotel that has been completely restored for the hotel conglomerate's purposes.

The building displays the French and Spanish-influenced designed details signed by Santiago Medina combined with modern features, such as 24-hour gym and full-service spa. Each one of the 62 rooms of the hotel presents a different design and decoration, with features such fireplaces and beamed ceilings.

"I am among those who remember Casa Medina fondly, so it's both an honor and a pleasure to reintroduce this very special hotel as a signature Four Seasons experience," General Manager Luis Argote said.

Castanyoles Raciones y Tapas will offer a Spanish-influenced menu for the guests. It also features a private dining room that can receive up to 16 people.

The event area, Casa Medina Room, can accommodate 120 guests, with other smaller rooms available as well.
