Honeywell recently announced the signing of a product distribution agreement with
WDC Networks,
the largest distributor of cameras and Internet protocol surveillance systems in the Brazilian market, in accordance with international IHS report.
The Brazilian market for electronic security is among the five largest in the world. According to the Brazilian
Association
of Electronic Security Systems Companies, the segment of electronic security systems has a sales expectation of approximately $1.44 billion this year, which means a 10 percent increase over 2014. This growth is
especially generated by the increase in the investment in electronic security technologies for private and government initiative.
In Brazil, there are more than 22,000 companies operating in the electronic systems segment of security among dealers, installers, monitors, distributors and manufacturers. These companies generate 220,000 direct and
2 million
indirect jobs.
