Ceragon platform to help spread 4G wireless network in Mexico

Ceragon Networks said recently that its FibeAir IP-20 Platform will be used to expand the 4G wireless network in parts of Mexico.

A wireless operator in Mexico will deploy the platform to increase the speed and efficiency of the network, Ceragon Networks said. 

"We appreciate the opportunity to expand our relationship with this wireless operator to deliver 4G wireless backhaul across the network," Ceragon President and CEO Ira Palti said. "We are gratified by this operator's confidence that our highly reliable, top performance IP-20 platform and the proficiency of our network rollout services will enable it to meet its network rollout plans."

The FibeAir IP-20 is is a highly flexible system that works on a wide variety of frequencies ranging from 4 to 86 gigahertz. It is also a system that is easy to deploy, so it will be easy to put in use in Mexico. It also saves the operator time and will be able to achieve results quickly.

Ceragon is a backhaul specialists for wireless systems that also delivers 3G and 2G networks and has the capabilities for other types of wireless systems.
