The National Directorate of Culture announced on Mar. 13 that it has opened a call for managers, producers, and venue programmers from Uruguay’s music sector to apply for participation in Primavera Pro 2026, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain.
This initiative is part of the Conecta program, which aims to support the internationalization of Uruguay’s music industry by facilitating attendance at major markets and professional networking events. The program offers financial assistance for selected applicants to attend Primavera Pro, a leading European gathering for music professionals held alongside the Primavera Sound festival.
Primavera Pro annually attracts a wide range of industry representatives including record labels, agencies, festival and venue programmers, publishers, digital platforms, managers, and institutional delegations. The event is recognized as an important platform for professional exchange and international collaboration within the contemporary music scene. Its agenda features conferences, training sessions, networking activities, and showcases designed to promote artist mobility across borders.
The upcoming edition of Primavera Pro is scheduled from June 3 to 7 in Barcelona. Organizers say this opportunity will help strengthen the visibility and positioning of Uruguay’s music sector while supporting its integration into global industry circuits.
Applications are being accepted exclusively through the culturaenlinea.uy platform until April 8 at 5:00 p.m.
