The Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros announced on March 11 that it will hold another training session focused on the prevention of money laundering for company officials. The event is scheduled for March 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is aimed at compliance officers and legal representatives of companies.
This initiative is part of the agency’s ongoing user education campaign, led by its National Directorate for the Prevention of Money Laundering. The decision to offer another session follows strong interest and participation in previous events.
Interested participants can join the training directly without prior registration through an online link provided by the agency. The goal is to help companies understand which activities must be reported and to strengthen their compliance with relevant regulations.
The Superintendencia said it remains committed to promoting educational opportunities and guidance for the business sector. “La SCVS reafirma su compromiso de impulsar espacios de capacitación y orientación al sector empresarial, promoviendo el conocimiento de la normativa y fortaleciendo la cultura de cumplimiento, la transparencia y las buenas prácticas en el ámbito corporativo,” the agency said in its statement.
By continuing these sessions, the Superintendencia aims to support transparency and good practices within corporate environments.
