Uruguay XXI has launched a new Spotify playlist featuring 50 songs nominated in the Singles category of the 2025 Graffiti Awards. The initiative aims to promote Uruguayan music internationally, as part of the agency’s strategy to support the global reach of Uruguay’s creative industries.

The playlist includes tracks from both established and emerging artists across various genres such as pop, rock, tropical, urban, and electronic. Recognized musicians like Fernando Cabrera, Éte & Los Problems, Trotsky Vengarán, Florencia Núñez, Eli Almic, and Franny Glass are featured alongside newer talents including Belén Cuturi, Clipper, Lucas Cary, Luana, Pitu, KIRA1312, and Dostrescinco.

To further boost visibility for Uruguayan music abroad, Uruguay XXI is rolling out a digital campaign targeting listeners in Argentina, Chile, and Mexico. The effort highlights the country’s contemporary music scene by showcasing its diversity and creative output through an accessible online platform.

The Graffiti Awards have been held annually since 2003 and are considered a key event in Uruguay’s music industry calendar. They bring together artists and producers to celebrate local creativity each year.

“With this playlist, we aim to generate new export opportunities for Uruguay’s music sector, known for the authenticity of its expression, the quality of its production, and the creative force of its performers,” said Omaira Rodríguez, Creative Industries Specialist at Uruguay XXI.
