Posibillian Tech, a Paraguayan video game company, has achieved greater international recognition in the industry with support from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce through Rediex. The partnership has helped open new markets and strengthen Paraguay’s presence in the global creative sector.

Institutional backing played a key role in Posibillian Tech’s growth as an option for international clients and studios. The company participated in more than a dozen international events across the United States, Europe, and Asia, explored business opportunities valued at approximately USD 87 million, and showcased Paraguay’s capabilities in geolocation technologies applied to gaming.

The company’s video game Fhacktions, developed over four years, broke ground by using geolocation technology. It received international awards and achieved high rankings on Google Play and Apple Store platforms. This led to further recognition when Posibillian Tech became the first Paraguayan company to present at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco.

“We were pioneers in applying this technology to video games, demonstrating that Paraguay can innovate on a global level,” said Juan de Urraza, CEO of Posibillian Tech.

International opportunities were important for the company’s expansion. With assistance from Rediex industry specialists, Posibillian Tech joined business matchmaking events, training programs, and networking sessions that sped up its entry into foreign markets. This collaboration also brought international talent to Paraguay for training purposes and enabled strategic visits like that of SunSpear Games CEO Ian Hunt to their Asunción offices.

In July 2025, Posibillian Tech marked its 10th anniversary—a period defined by innovation. During this time it established IGDA Paraguay and the Latin American Video Game Federation, secured accelerator support from Google and Finland’s government, presented its games worldwide, and won multiple international awards. The company highlights community building among partners and skilled professionals who are helping drive growth in Paraguay’s video game industry.

The story of Posibillian Tech reflects broader trends within Paraguay’s gaming sector: generating significant revenue annually while creating jobs for young people and raising the country’s profile as an emerging player in the creative economy.

“Today we continue to grow at a very steep pace. Innovation will continue to guide our vision, while we promote education and the training of new talent in Paraguay,” Urraza concluded.

Posibillian Tech’s development contributes not only to its own success but also helps establish Paraguay as a provider of advanced technological services supported by local creativity and commitment.
