Petrobras announced changes in its executive team concerning the Energy Transition and Sustainability Directorate. The company’s Board of Directors, during a meeting held today, approved the early termination of Mauricio Tolmasquim’s term as Executive Director of Energy Transition and Sustainability. This decision was made through a negotiated process and will take effect on May 27, 2025.

Additionally, the board approved William França, currently serving as Executive Director of Industrial Processes and Products, to assume the responsibilities of the Executive Director of Energy Transition and Sustainability on an interim basis. França will hold this position concurrently with his current duties starting from May 28, 2025, until a new executive director is elected and takes office.
