Twelve Peruvian tourism companies participated in the International Tourism Fair IFTM (TOP RESA) held in Paris, France, from September 23 to 25. The event took place at the Versailles Exhibition Center, where Peru’s renewed stand showcased a variety of destinations and tourism services.

The opening ceremony featured Rolando Ruiz Rosas, Peru’s ambassador to France, and Rosario Pajuelo, director of the Commercial Office of Peru in France and Switzerland. Together they inaugurated the Peruvian pavilion. Ambassador Ruiz Rosas emphasized both the diversification of destinations on offer and the updated design of the pavilion.

Over three days, national tourism agents engaged with numerous wholesalers and tour operators interested in expanding their offerings related to Peru’s attractions and services.

This year’s edition brought together more than 1,400 exhibitors from around the world, presented 170 destinations, and facilitated over 13,000 business meetings. The fair is considered one of France’s largest B2B international tourism events and serves as a significant platform for promoting Peru as an attractive travel destination while supporting ongoing efforts to advance its tourism sector.
