Companhia Nitro Quimica Brasileira recently said it has chosen Eyefreight’s transportation management system (TMS) to support its domestic
and international logistics,
positioning the Brazilian firm to continue growth while cutting costs.

“Eyefreight is very proud to have Nitro Quimica as a
customer in Brazil,” Eyefreight CEO Ken Fleming said. “(The) potential of the Brazilian market for Eyefreight is especially significant
because our TMS platform is well suited to complex markets, delivering value,
optimizing processes and ensuring logistics visibility in all its phases.”

With an 80-year history, Nitro Quimica is among the world’s
largest producers of nitrocellulose, a cotton-like polymer
synthesized for use in manufacturing
plastics, varnishes, solid propellants, celluloid and explosive materials. The company
exports to over 70 nations.

“For these reasons, Nitro Quimica invested in the
search for a solid TMS partner which has international experience and advanced
logistics management that enables us to grow nationally and
internationally,” Fernando Siqueira, Nitro Quimica’s supply chain director, said.
“The selection of Eyefreight was very thorough and based on the benefits
that the tool will deliver to the company and all the know-how of our new
partner. We are confident that we will achieve the benefits sought.”
