National government meets Chubut governor as part of talks on reforms

The Chief of Cabinet, Manuel Adorni, and the Minister of the Interior, Diego Santilli, met with Ignacio Torres, governor of Chubut, at Casa Rosada. This meeting marks the beginning of a new round of dialogue between the national government and provincial leaders.

During the meeting, Governor Torres presented the main points of his administration’s agenda. Discussions focused on moving forward with the 2026 budget and considering key structural reforms for Argentina. These reforms include labor modernization, tax reform, and updates to the Penal Code.

According to officials, this initiative is part of President Javier Milei’s new phase of governance. The goal is to strengthen cooperation with provincial governors, listen to their proposals, and work with the National Congress to advance necessary reforms for the country.

“This meeting marks the beginning of a new round of dialogue between the national government and provincial leaders,” said officials.
