To support a nearby Hyundai/Kia facility, Michigan-based
fluid systems giant TI Automotive recently opened a new plant in Monterrey,
Mexico, creating approximately 100 local jobs at full production capacity to
supply key vehicle components.

The 53,000-square-foot facility produces brake, fuel and clutch parts and will also be engineered to handle water,
oil and vacuum tubes, transmission lines and pipes for exhaust gas reduction.

“Mexico is a growing automotive market for our
customers and this new facility supports our global growth strategy of going
where our customers need us,” TI
Automotive Chairman, CEO and President

Bill Kozyra said. “We have enjoyed a great
partnership with Hyundai/Kia all over the world for many years and we look
forward to mutual continued success here in Monterrey.”

TI Automotive already has nine plants in Mexico,
located in Mexico City, Puebla, Reynosa and San Luis Potosi. With
the addition of the Monterrey production site, the company is geared to increase
production in anticipation of staying at the forefront of fluid systems
technology.
