Ministry seeks specialist to support continuing education programs

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture (MINEDEC) has announced an open call for professionals to apply for the position of Specialist in Continuing Education. The initiative aims to strengthen ongoing training processes and professional development within the national education system.

According to the announcement, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree registered with SENESCYT in fields related to education and have at least six years of experience in the educational sector. The ministry will consider knowledge of public sector regulations in education, as well as teaching experience and work carried out in educational institutions.

Applicants are expected to have experience in planning and designing educational models, managing and monitoring educational projects, academic coordination, and leading continuing education processes. Additional relevant qualifications include instructional material design, educational research, educational management, and proficiency with virtual learning platforms.

Interested individuals should submit their curriculum vitae and supporting documents in PDF format via email to [email protected]. The subject line should read: “ESPECIALISTA DE FORMACIÓN CONTINUA.” The deadline for submission is January 25, 2026.

“With this call for applications, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement of educational quality by strengthening professional capacities and consolidating training processes that contribute to transforming the country’s education system,” said the ministry.
