Mario Godoy, president of the Consejo de la Judicatura, visited Loja province for a second day of meetings focused on improving the justice system and providing timely responses to citizens.
Godoy met with judges from the Provincial Court of Justice of Loja in what was described as a technical and constructive dialogue. The meeting aimed to identify the needs, priorities, and challenges faced by the local justice administration. According to the press release, this interaction allowed for direct input from judicial operators based on their experience.
Later, Godoy held a working meeting with Alexandra Jara, governor of Loja. Both officials agreed on “the importance of strengthening inter-institutional coordination as a fundamental axis to reinforce citizen security and ensure timely, efficient, and accessible justice for the community,” according to the statement.
The visit is presented as part of ongoing institutional efforts to modernize Ecuador’s judicial system through engagement with local actors.
