The Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC) held its second consecutive reverse trade mission for food and beverage companies on November 26 and 27. The event was organized by the CAC’s Foreign Trade Department and the Pymes al Mundo program, aiming to promote Argentina’s export offerings and support national competitiveness.

Four importers from Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, and Peru met with 20 Argentine companies representing Buenos Aires Province, Córdoba, La Pampa, Mendoza, Tierra del Fuego, Tucumán, Salta, and the City of Buenos Aires. Products showcased included wine, honey, baked goods, confectionery items such as alfajores, distilled beverages, legumes, dulce de leche, yerba mate, sauces, and fruit preserves.

Over two days at CAECE University’s auditorium in Buenos Aires City, participants held 75 business meetings that allowed small- and medium-sized enterprises to connect directly with international buyers. The visiting importers also attended a wine tasting session and toured a local production facility.

According to the CAC: “With initiatives like this one the CAC reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the export sector by facilitating opportunities for Argentine products to reach new markets and boosting the international integration of domestic companies.”
