The Chief of Cabinet, Manuel Adorni, and the Minister of the Interior, Diego Santilli, met at Casa Rosada with the governor of Chubut, Ignacio Torres. This meeting marked the beginning of a series of discussions with provincial leaders.

During the meeting, Governor Torres outlined his main management priorities and discussed with national authorities the need to move forward on the 2026 budget and structural reforms. These include labor modernization, tax reform, and updates to the Penal Code.

According to officials, “This meeting is part of a new phase in government led by President Javier Milei. The goal is to strengthen joint work with governors, listen to their proposals, and promote—together with the National Congress—the structural reforms Argentina needs.”

This initiative aims to foster collaboration between national and provincial governments as they address legislative changes for Argentina’s future.
