The Servicio de Rentas Internas (SRI) announced on April 1 the launch of new online tools aimed at improving transparency in tax records and expanding digital services for accountants and legal representatives.
These updates are intended to make it easier and more efficient for professionals to manage their relationships with the tax administration. The first tool is a module designed specifically for accountants, providing them with new options to handle their responsibilities digitally.
Additionally, SRI has introduced a consultation service for legal representatives. This feature allows users to obtain a consolidated report of all companies where an individual currently serves or has previously served as a legal representative.
To access these services, users must log into SRI en Línea at www.sri.gob.ec using their username and password, then select the RUC section followed by the “Gestión de contador y representante legal” option.
According to SRI, these improvements are part of ongoing efforts to modernize digital services and promote more transparent, secure, and efficient tax management.
