The Minister of the Interior, Diego Santilli, held a meeting with Italy’s ambassador to Argentina, Fabrizio Nicoletti, at the Casa Rosada. The meeting took place in the Hall of Shields and also included Roberto Taraddei, political adviser at the Italian embassy.

During the discussions, officials reviewed key aspects of the bilateral agenda and reaffirmed the strong relationship between Argentina and Italy.

They highlighted the free trade agreement between MERCOSUR and the European Union as a strategic tool for increasing exports and investment flows between Argentina and Italy. Both parties emphasized the importance of Senate ratification of this agreement, which has already been approved by Argentina’s Chamber of Deputies.
