Sociedad Rural Argentina reported on May 4 that a productive tour took place in Salto, highlighting activities related to grain storage, livestock, and agriculture.

The visit began at Ferias del Norte, a company involved in the collection and commercialization of grains. Participants toured the silo plant and learned about physical handling processes and grain storage. The group also observed operations at the company’s feedlot.

Afterwards, the delegation visited the Ramos family farm. Members of the Ramos family shared their experiences with agricultural management, discussing practices such as harvesting and crop rotation.

The event aimed to provide insight into local agricultural methods and facilitate knowledge sharing among participants. The focus on both industrial-scale grain management and family-run farming practices illustrated diverse approaches within the region’s agricultural sector.

Looking ahead, organizers indicated that similar tours may continue to foster exchange of best practices among producers.
