The Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) announced on March 1 a new cycle of conferences focused on public integrity and the fight against corruption for 2026. The initiative, led by the Secretariat of Public Integrity (SIP) in partnership with the National School of Public Administration (ENAP) at Servir, aims to strengthen ethical decision-making and corruption prevention among public servants and citizens.
The conference series is designed to build skills in identifying risks, making ethical choices, and applying current legal frameworks within public management. It will consist of 60 live virtual sessions organized into three thematic modules. Topics will include basic concepts related to integrity and anti-corruption efforts, cross-cutting strategies for prevention, contemporary challenges, as well as new approaches in public sector ethics. National and international experts are scheduled to share their knowledge throughout these sessions.
“Desde la Secretaría de Integridad Pública seguimos impulsando espacios de formación que permitan fortalecer las capacidades del servicio civil para prevenir la corrupción. Este ciclo de conferencias contribuye a consolidar una gestión pública más transparente y orientada al servicio de la ciudadanía,” said Alexandra Cabrera, secretary of the Secretariat of Public Integrity at PCM.
The conferences will take place virtually from March 24 through November 25, 2026. Participants can earn certificates for each session or module they complete, issued by ENAP upon meeting attendance requirements.
Registration is now open for the first session titled “La corrupción como problema público,” which will be held on Tuesday, March 24 at 10 a.m., featuring Fernando Hurtado, Deputy Secretary for Strategic Management of Public Integrity.
