P3 Group said it is expanding its business in Latin America and will be opening a new office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“Sao Paulo is one of the leading technology and research centers in Latin America and an important hub for serving all of Brazil,” P3 CEO Dirk Bernhardt said. “With the Summer Olympic Games less than five months away, Brazil’s mobile network operators are challenged to prepare for the onslaught of athletes, organizers and media who will expect reliable connections and 4G speeds. Developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex technology challenges is what we do best.”

The telecommunications market is exploding in Brazil, while there is continued room for growth in the $234 billion market. The new office will focus on growth in network operations for device manufacturing and mobile operators in Brazil. Experienced engineers in the network, application and device industries will support the office.

“Our comprehensive approach combined with our suite of proprietary and certified diagnostic tools can help Latin American operators streamline network deployments and optimize service performance,” Bernhardt said

“We continue to grow at a rapid pace and are excited about expanding our Latin American team,” Bernhardt said. “We are strategically positioned for success and look forward to contributing to the development of next generation mobile broadband services in Brazil.”
