Nicolás Pino, president of Sociedad Rural Argentina, visited several rural societies in Patagonia as part of efforts to reinforce federal connections, according to a March 10 announcement.
These visits are significant as they highlight the ongoing commitment of the Sociedad Rural Argentina (SRA) to engage with regional producers and address their concerns. The SRA’s involvement is seen as important for supporting agricultural development across different regions.
During his stop at the Rural Society of Neuquén, Pino said, “Sin generar consensos básicos no podemos salvar al país,” emphasizing the need for fundamental agreements to advance national interests. In Puerto Deseado, he reaffirmed SRA’s dedication by stating that the organization remains committed to supporting Patagonian production.
In Comodoro Rivadavia, Pino addressed local producers and said, “La SRA seguirá acompañando a los productores con responsabilidad y vocación de diálogo.” This statement reflects an ongoing intention from SRA leadership to maintain dialogue and act responsibly in representing producer interests.
Pino’s tour through Patagonia underlines the importance placed on building consensus and maintaining open channels between agricultural leaders and regional stakeholders. These engagements are expected to continue shaping future collaborations between SRA and rural communities.
