Nicolás Pino, president of Sociedad Rural Argentina (SRA), participated in a regional event on April 10 that brought together agricultural producers for discussions and collaborative work sessions.
The meeting focused on the main challenges facing the sector, including institutional developments and international agreements related to the meat industry. Participants also discussed how global conditions are affecting input costs, which remains a key concern for those involved in agriculture.
Pino emphasized the value of these opportunities for direct communication. “These meetings are fundamental to listen to producers, understand the reality of each region and work together on concrete solutions that strengthen the sector. We promised this before taking office and now we are doing it: always close to producers to hear their realities and convey their concerns to decision makers in the country,” Pino said.
The event concluded with the inauguration of Casa del Campo de la Asociación, a new facility intended for institutional work and management. Organizers said that opening these offices marks another step toward strengthening both the organization itself and its support for local producers.
By fostering open dialogue between leaders like Pino and agricultural workers, events such as this aim to address ongoing issues in Argentina’s rural economy while providing spaces dedicated to supporting those who drive production.
