One man claims his PSA levels were reduced after using New Colombia Resources Inc.’s Sannabis product, the company recently reported.

The company’s director, 74-year-old Erasmo Almanza, saw his PSA level decreased by 65 percent after daily treatment with Sannabis’ Pure Cannabis Indica Extract in the course of one month, according to an announcement. To rule out any other variables, Almanza took no other medications during that time period.

“We are not making any claims, but the facts speak for themselves,” New Colombia Resources President John Campo said in the announcement. “First and foremost, I am extremely happy for Erasmo and his family that his PSA level is going down. When I last saw him about two weeks ago, he even looks better with much more color in his face and spunk in his step.”

New Colombia Resources owns holdings in Sannabis SAS, which legally produces medical marijuana products in Colombia.

Campo said that while current laws don’t permit the company’s proposed regimen everywhere, “[w]e’re doing everything possible to legally bring this therapeutic treatment to those that need it.”

He described the firm’s vision for its Sannabis Therapeutic Spa near Cali to host patients from other nations. The Sannabis spa will be staffed with an in-house physician, around-the-clock nurses and immediate access to emergency assistance. Amenities like housekeeping service; facilities such as pool, gym and spa; horseback riding; and internet connectivity will be provided.

The company noted that Almanza’s doses were applied rectally, avoiding the typical “high” effect that can be problematic for some patients who take the product orally, the announcement said.
