The Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture announced on March 16 a call for professionals to apply for the position of Specialist in Monitoring at the Executing Unit of the Annual Educational Investment Program (UEP). The ministry said this initiative aims to strengthen management, monitoring, and execution of investment projects in the education sector.
The announcement is directed at candidates with a third-level degree registered in SNIESE in fields such as Economics, Commercial Engineering, Finance, Public Administration, or Business Administration. Applicants should have strong experience in legal regulations, planning, and public investment management.
According to the ministry’s requirements, applicants must have eight years of general experience and knowledge of regulations within the National Education System, Organic Code of Planning and Public Finance, public procurement processes, internal controls, and budget cycles. Additionally, two years of specific experience are required in programming, formulating, and executing investment projects funded by multilateral organizations as well as coordinating management teams.
Interested candidates must verify they meet the profile requirements and complete a resume matrix available through an online link. Applications should be sent in PDF format to formarparatransformar@minedec.gob.ec with all supporting documents by March 19. The position will be contracted under a professional services model (invoicing), based in Quito.
