The Ministry of Education, Sport and Culture announced on March 27 the delivery of a new technology laboratory at Primero de Mayo School in Yantzaza, Zamora Chinchipe. The facility is expected to benefit 1,280 students.
The ministry said the project included an investment of $33,400 for renovations and civil works to provide a safe and modern environment. In addition, technological equipment valued at $33,000 was installed. The total investment exceeds $66,400.
The laboratory is designed for practical learning and the use of digital tools in response to current educational needs. During the handover ceremony, Favio Villamizar, Zonal Coordinator 7 for Education, addressed students: “Queridos estudiantes, aprovechen cada equipo, exploren cada software y desafíen su propio conocimiento.
According to the ministry statement, MINEDEC is introducing new tools that allow students to connect their educational process with evolving technological environments.
