PharmaRoth Labs, the maker of Sucanon, recently received an $80,000 order for the oral Type-II diabetes drug from its Mexican distributor Marcus De Renombre (MDR).
The largest single purchase order in PharmaRoth’s history was made on behalf of Farmacias de Similares, a retailer with more than 5,000 stores throughout Mexico, Guatemala and Chile.
“This new order is from a pharmacy chain comparable to CVS Pharmacy in the U.S.,” PharmaRoth CEO Luis Lopez said. “We have been working diligently with MDR to integrate our product into this chain and such a large first order represents why we have been so excited to do so.”
A natural insulin sensitizer, Sucanon is currently approved as an over-the-counter treatment for Type-II diabetes by regulatory authorities in Mexico and is distributed throughout Mexico at various pharmacy chains.
In addition to making the drug, the Canadian-based PharmaRoth Labs is the exclusive marketer and distributor of Sucanon, which has been found to lower a patient’s blood sugar by increasing the muscle, fat and liver’s sensitivity to the body’s own naturally produced insulin.
