Mecanica: the 31st annual International Machinery Trade Fair,

the largest meeting for the machining an manufacturing industry in Latin America, will be run May 17-21 in the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion in Sao Paulo.

More than 300 companies representing over 1,000 national and international brands are expected to attend the event,

which is being organized by Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado.

“There is great potential for advanced technology companies to bring innovative thinking to Brazilian industries, and the Mecanica fair is the ideal setting to bring these representatives together to exchange ideas and establish valuable business relationships,” Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado CEO Juan Pablo de Vera said.

One company that has seen the benefits of attending the event last year is industrial machinery supplier Deb’Maq Brazil.

“Mecanica represents quantity and quality in terms of its audience, proven business results and an effective and reliable investment,” Deb’Maq Brazil General Manager Eduardo Trevisan said. “Our participation in last year’s event resulted in a 42 percent increase in business proposals immediately following the show. Each year Deb’Maq sees value in participating in the leading trade shows for the sector and Mecanica continues to be on our list.”
