The government delivered 10 homes in the Altos de la Moya housing project as part of the Tu Casa Miti-Miti program, according to a May 5 announcement. Beneficiaries received a preferential interest rate of 4.99 percent, allowing them to transition from renting to owning their own homes.

The initiative has provided nearly 9,000 homes nationwide, supporting the construction sector and creating jobs. In this particular project, there were 250 direct jobs and 85 indirect jobs created.

Alison Muñoz, one of the beneficiaries of the program, said: “No imaginé que este sueño sería posible.

Through these efforts, the government has achieved around 45,000 housing solutions across the country and generated approximately 540,000 jobs in construction. The Tu Casa Miti-Miti program reflects an ongoing commitment to providing more Ecuadorians with access to adequate housing.
