Ford Motor Company recently named Magna Seating one of its top automotive suppliers in South America in the body interior segment.

The award recognizes Magna Seating as one of the best suppliers in the area as far as quality, cost, delivery and commercial relationship.

“By producing high-quality products that are aligned with our customers’ expectations, we continue to drive excellence throughout all our divisions,” Mike Bisson, president of Magna Seating, said. “This award is the result of great teamwork and dedication. Congratulations to the team for being recognized for outstanding performance and partnership with Ford Motor Company in South America.”

Magna Seating has seven facilities in South America that supply multiple customers including Ford. Magna has been a long-time supplier for Ford and has manufactured complete seats on 15 of the company’s vehicle platforms globally.

Employing approximately 136,000 people, Magna Seating is a leading global automotive supplier with 319 manufacturing operations, and 85 product development, engineering and sales centers in 29 countries. 

In addition to seating, the company produces automobile bodies, chassis, interiors and exteriors detailing, powertrains, electronics, vision and closure systems, and roof systems and modules. It also offers complete vehicle engineering and contract manufacturing.
