The Escuela Mujer Sustentable program has announced the opening of its 2026 training sessions, offering free educational opportunities for women in sustainability, sales, and STEM fields. Supported by Corfo Metropolitano and run by Mujer Sustentable in partnership with Emprediem, the initiative is aimed at women living in the Metropolitan Region.

The program consists of two main tracks: one focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), and another centered on sales skills for entrepreneurs. Both tracks are designed to equip participants with practical tools for business development, leadership, and increased participation in sectors considered important for the future.

Mujer Sustentable has previously developed training programs for women on topics such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, and leadership. To date, it has trained more than 2,000 women through over 300 events and programs. The organization’s community now includes more than 350,000 people across Chile and Latin America.

Catalina Droguett, founder of Mujer Sustentable, stated: “Mujer Sustentable was born more than seven years ago from a deep conviction: that sustainability is not built only from the environmental, social or economic aspects but also from human development and being. Today we are the first community in Latin America that integrates this approach in a pioneering, concrete and applied way. Tripling our training offer through the Escuela Mujer Sustentable initiative together with our partners Emprediem and Corfo Metropolitano is the result of serious and sustained work over time.”

Gloria Moya, regional director of Corfo Metropolitano commented: “From Corfo Metropolitano we promote initiatives that strengthen female entrepreneurship from an inclusive and strategic perspective aimed at strengthening full participation of women in the economy and balanced representation of female talent in innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems. Training programs are key to strengthening dynamic entrepreneurship capacities with a triple impact perspective: economic, social and territorial; where public-private collaboration connects sustainability, innovation and generation of opportunities for entrepreneurial women in the Metropolitan Region and throughout the country. We bet on programs that not only train but also accompany sustainable growth processes over time while promoting networking.”

Sebastián Rodríguez, general manager at Emprediem said: “After 13 years at Emprediem we believe that impactful entrepreneurship does not happen in isolation but through collaborative models with purpose rooted in local territories. This alliance with Mujer Sustentable reflects our commitment as a B company to drive programs that build real capabilities, generate value networks and open up concrete opportunities so more women can lead sustainable economic development from their communities. Because when you collaborate you multiply impact.”

With its 2026 agenda underway, Escuela Mujer Sustentable aims to further develop skills networks among entrepreneurial women across different regions.
