The Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC), the Argentine Confederation of Medium-Sized Enterprises (CAME), the Union of Argentine Commercial Entities (UDECA), and the Argentine Federation of Trade and Services Employees (FAECyS) signed a new collective bargaining agreement for the commercial sector, according to a statement released on March 26.

The agreement establishes a salary increase of five percent based on the basic pay scales set by Collective Labor Agreement No. 130/75. The calculation will use March 2026 values, including non-remunerative sums as of that date.

The five percent increase will be implemented in stages: two percent from April 2026, one and a half percent from May, and another one and a half percent from June. In addition, workers will receive a fixed non-remunerative payment of $20,000 to be added to current non-remunerative amounts.

To support the continued operation and obligations of OSECAC—the health insurance fund for commerce employees—the parties also agreed on an additional solidarity contribution by employers covered under this collective agreement.

The terms take effect starting April 1, 2026. The statement clarifies that these increases are not binding for wage agreements made within Río Grande city in Tierra del Fuego province; however, any resulting increases from this deal will set the minimum standard after official approval.
