Representatives from the tourism sector of Aysén Patagonia and Ñuble are participating in the World Travel Market (WTM) Latin America 2026, taking place in Sao Paulo from April 14 to 16. The event is recognized as a major platform for promoting Latin American destinations and experiences internationally.

The participation aims to position Aysén Patagonia as a global tourist destination. The Regional Government of Aysén and Sernatur have organized this effort to strengthen business opportunities, networking, and international connections for the regional tourism industry. Companies such as Gran Patagonia, Rolling Patagonia, Free Adventures, Mañio Eventos, and Loberías del Sur are present at the Chile pavilion to showcase their offerings.

Sernatur Aysén has also arranged an “Encuentro Aysén Patagonia” during the fair to create strategic commercial links between local businesses and specialized buyers.

Ñuble is also represented at the event through funding from the Regional Government’s FNDR program focused on developing skills and promoting national and international tourism. Destinations including Valle Las Trancas, Chillán, Valle del Itata, Cobquecura, Quillón and San Fabián are working to establish themselves in one of Chile’s most strategic markets.

The agenda includes destination presentations as well as gastronomic activities and networking spaces aimed at building contacts with key industry players such as representatives from the Inter-American Development Bank’s tourism area (BID), UN Tourism’s Latin American representative organization ONU Turismo), CNC Tourism Council members and Cetur representatives.
