On Friday, March 6, an open event will take place in Plaza Matriz from 9:00 to 17:00 as part of International Women’s Day activities. The event is organized to create a space for meeting, reflection, and dialogue about gender equality and women’s rights.

State agencies and labor organizations are set to participate. The schedule includes institutional stands, thematic talks, and various activities open to the public.

ANCAP will be present at the event with the launch of the photo exhibition “Mujeres que impulsan nuestra energía.” This exhibition features images of female employees in different roles within the company. According to ANCAP, “Through these images we seek to make visible the presence and contribution of women at ANCAP, highlighting how their work and commitment contribute to the development of the organization and the country.”

International Women’s Day is observed every March 8. The date serves as a time to reflect on progress made and remaining challenges regarding gender equality and women’s rights.

In this context, various institutions organize activities that encourage discussion, awareness-raising, and recognition of women’s role in society.
