ANCAP opened its stand at the 29th edition of Expoactiva Nacional, a major event for the country’s agricultural sector organized by the Rural Association of Soriano, according to a March 19 announcement.

The company’s participation aims to present various solutions offered by ANCAP and its affiliated companies in energy, fuels, agricultural supplies, and services related to productive development.

During the opening ceremony, Cecilia San Román, president of ANCAP, said that participating in such events is important for engaging with the productive sector. She added that it allows the company to showcase coordinated work among group companies. “ANCAP is a public company committed to the country’s development, with special focus on agriculture and industry, which are fundamental pillars of the national economy. Our goal is to continue providing innovation, technology and quality products while always meeting our customers’ needs,” San Román said.

Enrique Moreno, director of ANCAP, also spoke about the significance of Expoactiva as a reference point for agriculture and stressed the importance of supporting this key driver of national production. Other group company leaders attended as well, including Hubert Arbildi (president of DUCSA) and Claudia de Velásquez (president of Cementos del Plata), who both highlighted their commitment to developing solutions aimed at improving efficiency and competitiveness in agriculture.

The event concluded with two technical talks open to attendees: Cementos del Plata presented “A national solution for a national problem,” while ALUR held a session on carbon footprint calculation and mitigation strategies.

With its presence at Expoactiva Nacional, ANCAP and its group companies reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Uruguay’s productive development by offering products, services and technical expertise tailored to the agricultural sector.
