Alicorp, a leading company in the mass consumption sector, has announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Jabonería Wilson in Ecuador, Disanu in Peru, and Sanuss in Colombia. These companies specialize in home care, personal care, and laundry products.

Jabonería Wilson is recognized as one of the most established companies in Ecuador’s market, with well-known brands such as LAVAX, LAVA, and GOL. Through this acquisition, Alicorp aims to increase its investment in Ecuador, support economic growth, develop the industry, and stimulate the local market. The move also strengthens Alicorp’s regional presence by partnering with a company that has over 80 years of experience in the industry.

“Ecuador is a strategic country for Alicorp. We will combine the best of both companies, creating together an operation that maximizes value for our consumers and clients. This is a commitment to energize the industry and strengthen our regional presence with a diverse, innovative, and high-quality product portfolio through Jabonería Wilson’s emblematic brands to which we will add Alicorp’s portfolio,” said Alvaro Correa, CEO of Alicorp.

Francisco Guerrero, general manager of Jabonería Wilson, added: “We are very excited about this integration. The union of Alicorp with Jabonería Wilson is a sign of confidence in Ecuador’s potential, its people, and an 80-year legacy.”
