Ajinomoto del Perú and the Municipality of Callao have launched a joint initiative aimed at empowering more than 50 women from Callao through a training program focused on nutrition, leadership, and communication. The project is part of Ajinomoto del Perú’s ongoing commitment to promote healthy living habits and support social development in local communities.

The program consists of eight workshops that combine theory and practice. Two workshops will focus on strengthening leadership skills and assertive communication, while six will address topics related to nutrition, balanced diets, and healthy practices. These sessions will be led by nutritionists, chefs, and other specialists who will share practical knowledge relevant to both family life and the wider community.

Participants in the program will also take part in a community action phase. During this stage, they will lead activities such as health fairs and campaigns designed to promote better nutritional habits among residents. Upon completion of the process, participants will be recognized as “Women Leaders in Nutrition.”

The initiative began on February 20, 2026 with the workshop “Female Leadership with Purpose” and is scheduled to continue until the end of June.
