Kuss Filtration to add MERLIN software to manufacturing plants in Brazil, China and U.S.

MERLIN Enterprise Edition software will soon be in all Kuss Filtration manufacturing plants in Brazil, China and the U.S. The Industrial Internet of Things software will include 43 licenses, which is in addition to the 10 licenses purchased in June. FedEx offer to buy TNT Express gets OK from Brazil regulators

A FedEx offer to purchase TNT Express recently received approval from Brazil regulator Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Economica (CADE). Biopharmaceutical company MediWound agreed to a deal giving Avalon Pharmaceutical S.A. the rights to market and distribute its severe burn treatment product NexoBrid is several Latin American countries. U.S. eases travel and trade restrictions with Cuba

Amendments in federal regulations announced Tuesday by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security and U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control are expected to make it easier for air service, exports and travel to Cuba.
